QUESTIONS ABOUT HAIR EXTENSIONS?

All SO.CAP. Hair Extension team members have been professionally trained and certified to provide quality hair care. Below you will find some frequently-asked questions about hair extensions.

Q. What are hair extensions?

A. SO.CAP. hair extensions are made of 100% European hair that is attached in a strand technique with a keratin protein bond that is on the end of each strand of hair extensions.   Each bond is made  of keratin and protein, that is not a wax or a glue, and will not damage your own hair.

Pre-bonded hair extensions come in a variety of lengths and styles, such as straight, wavy, or curly and are available in 81 different colors. The hair extension is then fused with your natural hair, creating a natural bond.  Once the hair extension application process is complete, your hair will be cut to the desired length and styled.

Following application of your new hair extensions, it is crucial that a maintenance and follow-up schedule be developed.

Remember, regardless of how natural and real your hair extensions look and feel, they must be properly cared for to ensure long-lasting beauty.

Q. How long do hair extensions last?

A. Whatever your lifestyle, hair extensions are easy to maintain, and last approximately three to six months or more if properly cared for.  Ask your SO.CAP.USA certified stylist how to best care for your new hair between salon visits by inquiring about recommended conditioners and hairstyling tools.  Visit your salon at frequent intervals for touch-ups and upkeep consultations.

Q. How are hair extensions removed?

A. The stylist applies a special soft gel made by SO.CAP. that dissolves the keratin bond in the hair extension. When the bond is completely dissolved, the extension is gently pulled out. After the extensions are removed, the hair is shampooed, conditioned, and styled.
